CPC Board resigns; new Chairman appointed

A new Board of Directors and Chairman have been appointed to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) due to four members including the Acting Chairman resigning, the Ministry of Petroleum Industries said today.
The new Chairman of the CPC Tilak Collure and Director Board members Susantha Silva, Hans Wijesuriya and Nalin Pathikirikorale were appointed by Petrolium Minister Susil Premajayantha today (Aug 10).
Acting Chairman Dayananda Vidanagamachchi and Director Board members Lakshman Gunawardena, Methsiri Abeygunawardena and Champika Amarasekara have resigned, the Ministry said.
