Dharshana Handungoda released on bail

Sri Lankan Social Media activist Dharshana Handungoda was released on bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today (February 06).
He was arrested by a special team of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) upon his arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) from Dubai last night (February 05).
The CID said he was arrested over posting controversial views on social media platforms.
