Emirates plane makes emergency landing at BIA

Emirates flight A380 bound to Dubai made an emergency landing at Bandaranaike International Airport, today (26) at around 3.47a.m.
The flight commuting from Sydney to Dubai made the landing due to a technical fault, Duty Manager at Bandaranaike International Airport said.
There were 150 passengers on board at the time of the landing. The passengers of the plane have been taken to nearby hotels while they are expected to make passage to Dubai onboard other flights.
