Anticlimax, the beginning is like a dragons head, great and majestic and the ending is like a snakes tail, tiny and pathetic.
So finally the motion which violates the country’s supreme constitution has been passed by a 2/3 majorety in parliament. So how can we accept the ordinary people to uphold the constitution??? The Government has made the country’s suprme constitution as a big joke now.
The motion is perfectly in line with the Constitution and the process of PSC hearing, guilty verdict and eventual impeachment is in perfect order with the Consititution. She had her day at the PSC hearing but she stompped out of the hearing. It is now up to the Hon President to remove her without fear or favour and appoint a new CJ who would hold the honour and dignity of the position of CJ untained by corruption.
If the black coat brigade, the ‘jarava kana kaputu’ brigade refuse to accept the new CJ let them be struck-off the register of lawyers. So much the better for justice! Let’s have a SL free of such corrupt lawyers led by the NGOs, INGOs, eelamists and imperial West. The house has to be cleansed thoroughly in this new year 2013.
The Parliament has considered and voted on a Report that was quashed by a Court of Law based on an interpretation of the Constitution by the Supreme Court which has the sole authority to interpret the constitution.
The Members of Parliament have thus defaulted on their oath to uphold the constitution.
What we have now is a Parliament with members who have defaulted on their oath of office. Hence, our Government no longer consists of legally elected representatives.
This is today’s reality.
Despite this reality, Blogger 3 continues his jingoism laced with misogynistic attitudes.
