May 02 declared as special public holiday

The Government has declared May 02 as a special public holiday, the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, J.J. Ratnasiri announced today (April 29).
They said a circular in this regard will be issued today.
The decision was taken in view of the Labour Day falling on Sunday, the 01st of May.
