Mujibur Rahman resigns as MP

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Mujibur Rahman has decided to step down as a member of parliament to contest for the Local Government election.
He will contest for the post of Mayor of Colombo in the upcoming local government election.
Rahman announced his decision while addressing the parliamentary session this morning (January 20).
