Nandalal Weerasinghe appointed Governor of Central Bank

Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe, has been appointed as the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
He was the former senior deputy governor of the Central Bank.
Weerasinghe expects to take over as governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka on April 7th.
He will be replacing Ajith Nivard Cabraal who stepped down yesterday (April 04).
