Police sergeant found dead with injuries

The body of a police sergeant attached to the Valachchenai was recovered with injuries at Mullamunai in Vavunathivu this morning, Police Media Division said.
The deceased has been identified as a 55-year-old, resident of Mungar, Batticaloa, Police said.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Vavunathivu police.
