‘Potta Naufer’ passes away due to COVID-19

Underworld figure Mohamed Niyaz Noufer alias Potta Noufer has passed away in prison after contracting COVID-19.
He was sentenced to death for assassinating Colombo High Court Judge Sarath Ambepitiya in 2004.
