Price of wheat flour increased

The dealers say that they were informed by Prima Ceylon Company to increase the price of a kilogram of wheat flour by 8 rupees and 50 cents effective last midnight.
Accordingly, a kilogram of wheat flour will be sold at 104 rupees and 50 cents.
Prima Ceylon increased the price of wheat flour on a previous occasion as well but it has to revert the price at the request of the Consumer Affairs Authority.
