Ranil-Sajith discussions: No agreement yet
The factions supporting UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and Sajith Premadasa failed to agree on a number of points which were brought up during a special discussion at the Party Headquarters, Sirikotha, yesterday (11).
The meeting was held to iron out differences between the two factions and to plan the Party’s campaign for the upcoming General Election.
The factions had disagreed on a number of points and are hence, scheduled to meet for two-day round of talks to sort out these matters.
MPs Lakshman Kiriella, Vajira Abeywardena and Professor Ashu Marasingha attended the discussions from Wickremesinghe’s side, while MPs Malik Samarawickrema, Ranjith Madduma Bandara and Thalatha Atukorale attended from Premadasa’s side.

Of course, it is not only difficult but impossible to agree with totally false claims that they have ‘grassroots support’.
The UNP has a good chance of regaining support and winning > 113 seats in the next Parliament if SP and his malingerers are removed from the Party.
This presence these two “donky bolocs” and “jack ass” make me sick.
There is an old saying ‘ Ya deka noratha retha
Ekata paseemak natha ‘ ( Lokopakaraya. ) Roughly translated it means
‘ There is no fusion between a cold and a hot piece of iron .
Ranil is from an upper bourgeois class belonging mainly to Christian background. Royal College later London University graduated highly self conceited ARISTOCRAT while Sajith fails to qualify into the category at any stage except by his marriage.. However Sajith has a very much larger voter base among the rural folk especially among the Buddhist majority. Both are indispensable for future prospects.

Ranil may be a cram the book and pass the exam university graduates. But he has no brain capacity even of a pigeon. Just like any Sri Lanken graduates,
Reply to Ranjith,
Please don’t underestimate the ability and talents of your fellow Sri Lankans with Sri Lankan degrees!
With these degrees in hand, they are able to match other graduates around the world and hold down top jobs!
So much so, that Sri Lankan scholars are well respected!
Mr Rex. If so why Sri Lamnka in a such a poor state. Only a hand full of Sri Lanken graduates hold decent jobs. Most of them are doing cleaning toilets, sweeping roads and delivering goods, I been to many countries and I know what I am talking about. Talking about this so called clever man of yours Ranil. Where is his Volkswagen factory, One million Jobs he said he create with thin air. Only answer he got to any problem is to present a lap top.
What a nice pair of Laurel & Hardy! Of course Hardy here is Ponil as he simply refuses to disappear despite that he holds the top record in SL for leading his party at elections for pathetic, devastating losses! Clearly this “posh” and “educated-idiot” refuses to admit that he has an abysmally low following with the nation’s Buddhist Sinhala majority. His performance on peace talks with LTTE, with SLMM Norwegians fully supporting LTTE and him turning a blind eye to it all, and the aftermaths when LTTE would unilaterally break the ‘ceasefires’ with lethal attacks on our unprepared (as there’s supposed to be a ceasefire) security forces and killing them by the hundreds, yes, that horrific fiasco alone should certify the lack of basic intelligence in him!
