NBRO extends landslide warnings across Sri Lanka

The National Building Research Organization has extended the landslide warning previously issued for several areas of Sri Lanka.
The organization stated that the warning will remain in effect from 8:00 AM today (December 19) until 8:00 AM tomorrow (December 20).
Accordingly, a Level 3 (Red) pre-landslide warning has been issued for the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts.
Additionally, Level 2 warnings have been issued for the Badulla, Kurunegala, and Matale districts.
The organization emphasized that residents in the affected areas should remain extra vigilant.
