Speaker accepts Sajith as Opposition Leader

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya informed the Parliament today that he has accepted UNP MP Sajith Premadasa as the Leader of the Opposition.
The Speaker also officially announced Minister Dinesh Gunawardena as the Leader of the House, Minister Johnston Fernando as the Chief Government Whip and Parliamentarian Gayantha Karunatileka as the Chief Opposition Whip.

Your father had to face much more difficulties both from within and outside his own Party..He had no big family background as a launching pad for his political carrier -( a fact you and your sister are trying to forget-) . He was a lone wolf in search of knowledge, experience and high society. He met Senanayakas and other Buddhist leaders of the day at Vajirarama Temple and struck up friendship in the hard way.
Your path is made easy in fact it has even being carpetted by your late father . Your sister’s marriage to a well known Kandyan family has also decorated and illuminated your path for a bright. FUTURE.

The real drama on stage is cleverly orchestrated and put on board by different directors of scrip writing , dancing and most important tunes of the Music Director.. Frankly as to who is the ‘leader’ and who is the ‘peon’ does not matter much wrt this party, the party that has fared abysmally poor in the spheres of national economy and national security (this, a devastating record at that!) with both Ponil and SP being part of the same gang of sissies over the past 35 years! I have more regard for the parasitic TNAs compared to these rats who have hoodwinked masses and ruined our nation over that long!
