TRCSL to introduce Number Portability

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka announced it initiated preliminary steps on implementing the Number Portability service which would enable consumers to select service providers without changing the existing mobile numbers.
The relevant option has been a common and widespread facility provided by many service provides overseas.
