This is not good news! Many Chinese working in SL (I am talking about nealy a thousand!) went to China for Chinese New Year. They will start to return. This is the real danger. What measures SL Govt has implemented to screen them? This is the real danger.
Agreed Mr Amarakoon,
Returning Chinese workers/ tourists do pose a potential risk.
Ideally, they should be quarantined or under surveillance and monitoring,
We simply don’t have the resources to deal with this virus.
It is a genuine concern.
Amarakoon,
Beggars cannot be choosers.
The Nation is reliant on Chinese Money and Aid to enable leaders to become super-rich.
We should welcome all Chinese Workers returning to work after Chinese New Year Visit (infected with Coronavirus) with red carpet and permit entry via Diplomatic Lounge in BIA or maybe even at MRIA.
There goes the tourism industry.
Suggest handover Tourist Hotels to Ed Minister Hon Bandula to covert to Universities !!!
