Vehicle permits once in 10 yrs – PM

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe said concessionary duty free vehicle permits will be given to public sector officers once in 10 years.
He made the observation at the parliament today (03).
He further said under the new proposal number of permits will be limited to two per individual.

Ranil ….the more vehicles you put on the road there will be less petrol to go round make economic sense. For once you put your put down to tell Ravi who the boss is. Does this mean Ravi will come up with another budget with the concurrence of the IMF, IBD, ADb and the like and further devaluation mening even less money for our exports and more rupees for imports.
Yes the biggest foreign exchange remittance is through those working in the middle east ….what are they entitled to in the budget by way of a pensions worked at the rate rate of every 100 dollars remitted.
You have come to your senses in allowing the Chinese to go ahead with the projects and it will take another year before they get down to it……until then tighten belt
Yes it has to abolish completely. This permit introduced by MR and bribe the the vote.
If its genuine why only for government employees.
Why the government cant bring the government service status and quality back to the 60’s.
