Around 500kg of marijuana seized by Thanamalwila police

The Thanamalwila police seized around 500kg of marijuana which was being readied for transport in the Arambekema area, police stated.
Police were able to apprehend one suspect along with the stock while police reported that the consignment was being readied to be transported in a lorry.
The Thanamalwila police are conducting further inquiries.
