March 4 (Reuters) – Australia beat Sri Lanka by 15 runs in the first final of the one-day Tri-series against Sri Lanka at the Gabba, Brisbane on Sunday.
Australia won the toss and elected to bat.
Australia 321-6 in 50 overs (D. Warner 163) v Sri Lanka 306 all out in 49.2 overs (Nuwan Kulasekara 73, Upul Tharanga 60, B. Lee 3-59, D. Hussey 4-43)
This is a match SL could have won, had the senior capable batsmen in the top slots batted well, with dedication and concentration. They had failed the nation. They had rested in their laurels after winning the previous match against SL. They were not focused enough.
I hope our team will improve in all aspects of batting, felding and bowling, with motivation and dedication to win honour and glory to SL at last!
There he goes again, Professor Knicker-less Dias, the know all.
One day, he will fall into a well and is likely to be swallowed by a lizard.
Could Matt the prat make comments relevant to the topic rather than hurl insults at fellow bloggers! It is perhaps a disease of diaspora Tamils/TNA nationalists to insult, sling mud and provide disinformation, rather than contribute sensible/rational comments. They are inane and empty headed!
