Basil Rajapaksa appointed SLFP national organizer

Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa has been appointed as the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) at the central committee meeting, sources said.
Rajapaksa was unanimously appointed as the National Organizer after his name was proposed by Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and ratified by Sarath Amunugama.

Hon Basil Rajapaksa, the newly appointed SLFP National Organiser will ensure the SLFP will go from strength to strength. new recruitment drives should include the Northern and Eastern Provinces where rehabilitaion, reconstruction and recocillation (the three R’s) efforts of the Rajapaksa Government are assisting the war weary poulation living there to get back to being true Sri Lankan citizens.
I am sure the residents of the Northern and Eastern provinces will demonstrate the appreciation of the magnificient performance of the Rajapaksa Government by joining and supporting the SLFP in large numbers.
