Bathiudeen files writ application seeking to prevent his arrest

Lawyers of parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen has filed a writ application at the Court of Appeal seeking a court order to prevent his arrest.
The Attorney General had directed the Police to arrest and produce him in court for Criminal Misappropriation of Public Funds and Violation of Election Laws in 2019.
