Blake to visit Sri Lanka next week
Robert Blake, the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, will visit Sri Lanka next week to hold wide range of bilateral and regional discussions with top Indian officials.
Blake would also travel to India, State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters.
“In Sri Lanka, he intends to meet with government officials, civil society representatives, university students, and political leaders,” she said, adding that this trip had to cancelled earlier because of hurricane Irene.
“In India, Assistant Secretary Blake will meet with the Government of India and have internal consultations with the staff at the Embassy,” Nuland said, adding, “He leaves on September 12, returning on the 16.” PTI reports.

He was recalled to USA for consultations really, to conspire the next move by imperialist USA, the great satan, against SL, and not due to hurricane. That was just a red herring for the world to swallow. There is nothing Blake can do about the hurricane. What a laugh!It was just a cover for the real underhand dirty work of conspiring, to plot to topple the current GOSL. USA wants to manipulate a regime change, as in Libya, by force if not by diplomacy. This is because they want USA to be the top dog in SE Asia. They fear China’s influence in SE Asia due to close alliance with Hon MR.
In particular, USA wants to embroil dissident university students and riff-raff political parties like JVP and Tamil extremist parties to create riots and political upheaval, as in the Middle East, which has toppled several regimes to make way for chaotic ‘governments’ set-up by the US and its imperialist allies. Such regime changes are in US interests but not for the benefit of these countires and their peoples. Hence these countries will remain ever dependent on imperial West, while the imperial West dogs strip these countries of their natural resources such as oil and gas.
Blake has openly supported the evil terrorist regime of LTTE, when he was Ambassador in SL. He is still supportive of diaspora Tamils/LTTE, TNA. He has addressed their meetings and conspires with them against SL for a regime change, as in Libya.
For imperialist USA, there is only one terrorist enemy that matters, the Al Qaeda. All other terrorists groups, though listed by USA as such, are disregarded by USA, as they are not at war with USA. Infact, the imperialist US mad dog, manipulates such terrorist groups for the advantage of USA around the world, to promote US objectives of world domination and destruction of regimes they consider hostile to US agendas.
I suggest that we hold large demonstrations in Colombo before the US embassy and elsewhere, to show our utter disgust of US policies and war-mongering, to denounce their human rights abuse and war crimes, for the whole world to see. Isn’t it time the Freeworld wake-up to renounce US policies, their conspiracies, and war-mongering in Middle East in particular?
