Boat service from Wellawatte to Battaramulla begins today

The passenger boat service from Wellawatte to Battaramulla was launched today.
The boats will operate from both locations at 30-minute intervals, said the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation Major General (Rtd) M.R.W. De Zoysa.
One passenger boat is capable of carrying 16 persons.
The boat service has been launched to reduce traffic on the road.
