Brazilian sentenced to death by Negombo High Court

A Brazilian national, who was arrested for smuggling in and being in possession of 600g of cocaine while in Sri Lanka, has been sentenced to death.
The order was issued by the Negombo High Court after a lengthy hearing.
The suspect was arrested by Customs officers at the Bandaranaike International Airport on the 16th of February.
