Cabinet approves minimum traffic fine of Rs. 25,000

The Cabinet granted the approval to increase the minimum fine for traffic offences to Rs. 25,000 today.
The traffic offenses are listed below:
- Driving without licence
- Employing individuals without driving licence
- Driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotics
- Entering vehicles on to rail tracks carelessly
- Driving without valid insurance
