Chamal Rajapaksa places deposit for Presidential Election

UPFA Hambantota District MP Chamal Rajapaksa made a cash deposit at the Elections Commission today to contest the 2019 Presidential Election.
According to sources, the former Speaker of Parliament, who is the elder brother of SLPP candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, had placed a bond to contest the presidential election as an independent candidate.
