Gotabaya’s citizenship petition dismissed

The Court of appeal has dismissed the petition challenging the citizenship of SLPP Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Therefore, He will be able to handover the nominations on Monday.

The UNP wrecked itself by nominating Mod*dasa.

The Nation has been spared of an unlikely victory by the husband of BB Jalani (First Lady), Mod*dasa.
Get ready for a monumental victory for GR.
The Pabay*’s SLFP will now go begging to SLPP for an alliance.
They will be kicked out because the King, as head of SLFP, has destroyed the party.
The SLFP needs careful re-building.
The TNA should support GR, even though not directly but as 2nd preference vote to AKD.
The husband of BB Jalani (First Lady), Mr Mod*dasa, will receive <10% of the vote.
From Jan to May 2020 (or even Aug 2020), RW will be PM in a GR Govt.
All Mod*dasa supporters should be dismissed from Cabinet.
The GR / RW alliance is likely to last even longer after the Parliamentary Elections.
In the GR Govt, RW will drive economic policy and social policy and RW will retain the premiership while GR remains as the efficient doer.
This is what was agreed between GR and RW when the former met the latter, face to face, during the Constitutional Coup stand-off in 2018.

Yes….Gota will be the winner! But Gota will never work with ‘dead-wood’. RW should go to an old peoples home. We need to see the back of him. Enough is enoufg.

RW is not deadwood.
He is supreme on democracy (to satsify oversear needs; useful because we have to not only survive but be accepted by the superpowers; we are yet to be strong enough to stand on our own and go against the World like India) and is excellent on liberal economic issues.
A GR / RW Govt will be a powerhouse.

GR/ RW would be a disaster; not a powerhouse!
If RW was in power in 2009, he would have listened to foreign powers, and pulled back the troops. Result? We would still be at war!
We need STRONG LEADERSHIP for Sri Lanka, not with a foreign power puppet alongside him! Recipe for more of the last 4 years!

My dear Andrada, Thank you for your comments. RW allowed all his buddies (Malik, Arjuna Mahendran, Ravi, Aloysius, Charitha Rathwatte) to loot the country. Bond Scam what happened? He was never voted to become PM. But MY3 appointed him. He promised everything under the sun to get power. They told within 100 days they will change SL? Accused Rajapakse’s about Golden Horses, Dubai Money, Lamborghini, Siri Liya accounts, Desi Gran maa’s gem parcel. From January 2015 he had power. Did he do anything to put accused in the prison? This shows his inefficiency isn’t it? Under his regime scores of Buddhist monks (57) put in jail, sealed charity boxes in Temples, allowed Buddhist archeological sites to be bulldozed in broad day light. Systematically Buddhist teples/lands (Kuragala, Asirimale, Muhudi maha Vehera, Deegawaapi, Devanagala)are encroched by a religious group . There si now law. Some religious groups never wear helmets. No law and order. Allowed the massacres on the Easter day. Then, you should know about ASCA/SOFA (some say already signed secretly). He never groomed anyone for UNP leadership (except this supper brilliant Sajith!!!!). When the country has gone to dogs what is the use of D.M.O. CRAZY?

Guys, you missing a point.
GR is SLPP nominee but he is not a Member of the SLPP!
GR knows that the SLPP has many riff-raff, dreaming of becoming Ministers after his election.
GR will continue with RW as PM and GR, as President, has powers to directly appoint Ministry Secretaries from Viyath Maga.
All dreamers including the likes of SB Dissanayake, Mahindanande Aluthgamage, Udaya Gammanpila, Wimal Weerawansa and similar who are crowing for GR, will be disappointed. GR has no tolerance for them.
RW will lead Economic and Social Policies in a GR Govt and will be efficiently implemented directly through GR’s appointees.
Watch out for Sarath Fonseka. In a GR Govt, he is likely to play a key role.
