Chief Jailer of Welikada Prison Training School shot dead in Ambalangoda

A 45-year-old person was shot dead yesterday night (August 3) in the Kuleegoda junction of Ambalangoda. The person who sustained injuries in the shooting died when he was being admitted to the Balapitiya Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as the chief jailer of the Welikada Prison training school. The police has commenced investigations into the incident.
