Cigarettes prices go up with excise duty hike

The Finance Ministry announced the increase on excise duty on Cigarettes by Rs.3.80 per stick with effect from midnight yesterday, the Finance Ministry said.
Accordingly the prices of cigarettes has also increased as a result of the duty hike. The price per cigarette has reportedly been increased by Rs 5.
