This is alarming! It seems the epidemic is similar to trying to trying to keep a rubber ball under water water. It popp up from somewhere. Hope this new outbreak can be kept under control.
The pandemic is there forever, similar to the Spanish Flu, the intensity of which lasted > 4 years. SL is hit by the 2nd wave; many other countries have been hit by 3rd and 4th waves.
We have to larn to live with it; just as Trump said when he returned to the White House, confront the Virus and conquer it.
The vaccine is a dream; there may be a vaccine with limited effectiveness later this year; but Big Pharma, manufacturers and distributors will starangle supply for financial benefit.
Throwing money to support communities has severe limitations; we should learn to live with less. Home grown vegetables, local schools, public transport, local alcohol and more reliance on the Internet for transactions and communications.
The Govt should vitalise the power industry and data distribution networks, stop building tall buildings and covert tourist infrastruture to education.
