Ajith Nivard Cabraal banned from travelling overseas

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today issued an order preventing the former Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Ajith Nivard Cabraal from leaving the country.
Ajith Nivard Cabraal was also issued summons to appear in Court on the 18th of April.
The order was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunuwela upon considering an application filed by former Governor of the Southern Province Keerthi Thennakoon.
Thennakoon in his petition claims that the Former Governor is attempting to leave the country and is involved in many incidents of financial fraud.

Good. That is the best way to deal with ‘Allegations’. That way, thieves and wrong doers can be prosecuted and the accusers have to proves the facts.
This ban should be extended to all in Parliament, their families.
