Explosives recovered from drain in Kuliyapitiya

Three grenades hidden inside an ice-cream container have been recovered from a drain in Hettipola, Kuliyapitiya, the Police Spokesman confirmed a short while ago on Tuesday (19) morning.
The explosives were recovered upon a tip-off received by the police emergency call center, Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
The Kuliyapitiya police have launched investigations into the incident.
