First Lady Visits Rizana Nafeek’s Home

While in Trincomalee for Independence Day festivities, First Lady Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa visited the home of Rizana Nafeek, the young Sri Lankan housemaid who was executed by Saudi Arabia in January after Saudi law found her guilty of killing the child in her care. The First Lady made the visit on Feb. 03, Rizana Nafeek’s birthday, and spent some time talking with the parents and siblings.
