This must be brainchild of the Trade Minister who claims a PhD.
Issuing ‘Gazette Notifications’ (GN) alone not sufficient, but it is the implementation that matters to the public. Minister Bandula is also issuing lots of GNs to control the rice prices , but people only know what happens in the open xmarket ? Fmr Health Min Rajitha of course brought down prices of many drugs that were prepared based on Prof. Senaka Bibile’s formula ! With his departure, what happened to those drugs ? Not a single private pharmacy has these drugs these days. Like Bandula’s CWE for rice, we have to hire a vehicle and go to OSUSALA to buy these drugs. Relevant govt officials to take note of the implementation part of the issued GNs.
