Journalist meets with tragic end

A twenty one-year-old female journalist on her way to work, was killed this morning, when she was knocked down by a lorry that went out of control in Colombo 7, police said.
The accident occurred at the Rosmead Place/Wijerama Mawatha junction. Sources said she was found dead upon admission to the National Hospital.
