Man shot dead in Mawathagama

A man has been killed after an unidentified gunman had opened fire at him in Mawathagama on Monday morning, police said.
The gunman who was riding a motorbike had fled the scene soon after the shooting, it was reported.
The police said that an investigation is underway to locate the suspect.
