No confidence motion against John Amaratunge

Opposition is to bring a no confidence motion against Minister of Public Order John Amaratunge stating he has failed to execute his duties properly in maintain law and order in the country.
Opposition Leader Nimal Siripala de Silva told Parliament a short while ago that Minister Amaratunge’s conduct in connection to recent incidents occurred in several local government authorities have proven that the latter has failed in performing his duties.
