President Addresses Rio+20 Conference today

Sri Lanka President arrived in Brazil on Tuesday (19) to attend the Rio+20, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development.
Today, President Mahinda Rajapaksa will make a statement after the formal opening of the conference, as the 5th speaker. President Rajapaksa is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of Nepal Baburam Bhattarai, Lyonchen jigme Thinley, Prime Minister of Bhutan, Sebastian Pinera Echenique, President of Chile and several other world leaders on the sidelines of the Rio Conference.
