President arrives in Singapore
President Mahinda Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa arrived at the Changi International Airport on a two day state visit to Singapore, at the invitation of Singapore President Dr.Tony Tan Keng Yam.
Singapore Trade, Industries and Home Affairs Senior Minister S. Iswaran and Singapore High Commissioner Chang Chai Chung and Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Singapore Ferial Ashraff received the Sri Lankan delegation at the airport.
During his two day visit, President Rajapaksa will meet his Singapore counterpart President
Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam and and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong tomorrow. The two sides will hold bilateral discussions and sign several key Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries. External Affairs Minister Prof. G. L. Peiris, Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga and External Affairs Ministry Secretary Karunatilaka Amunugama accompanied the President in the tour.

You are a hero of the tamil diaspora, the transnational government and the GTF. There’s no love lost between SL Tamils and India. The plight of SL Tamils today is primarily due to the policies of India and US.
India sttod by and majestically watched the slaughter of 40,000 tamils. India stood by and watched the planned genocide of Tamils over 30 years under the guise of George W Bush’s new definition of terrorism.
India is still standing by and watching the ongoing genocide of tamils in Sri Lanka.
Your mud throwing at US and India, Mr Nicholas, is manna to the beleagured tamil community. India and the US are friends to genocidal regimes in Sri Lanka. They are your best friends Mr Nicholas and it doesn’t pay to throw mud at one’s best friends.
