Pujith Jayasundara granted bail

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara, who was arrested and remanded in connection with the Easter Sunday attacks, was granted bail by the Colombo High Court.
He was released on a cash bail of Rs.250, 000 and two sureties of Rs.2.5 million each.
Former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando, was also granted bail this morning under the same bail conditions.
