Sepal Amarasinghe was arrested by a special CID team at Bellanwila for his statement on the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), Police said.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe had instructed the IGP to initiate an immediate investigation into the fake Dalada Maligawa.
