Sri Lanka Navy arrests 54 people trying to migrate to Australia illegally

54 persons who attempted to migrate to Australia illegally were taken into custody by the Sri Lanka Navy in Batticaloa, Palaminmadu area.
Navy Media Spokesman Captain Indika De Silva said they were apprehended early this morning (June 27) in seas off Kalmunai.
