Sri Lanka President begins work in New Year by planting sapling

Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa marked the auspicious time to assume work in the New Year by planting a sapling this morning.
The sapling was planted at the President’s residence in Mirihana this morning, while adhering to all other New Year rituals.
