Sri Lanka releases 55 TN fishermen

Tamil Nadu government announced that 55 out of 104 fishermen from the state, who were arrested by the Sri Lanka in recent months, were released on Thursday. These fishermen have been handed over to the Indian high commission officials in Jaffna.
Chief minister J Jayalalithaa has ordered the state authorities to take all measures to bring the fishermen back to Tamil Nadu, said an official release. (Times of India)
