Sri Lanka’s Water tariffs to be increased from September 1

Water tariffs in Sri Lanka will be increased with effect from 1st September 2022, the National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) says.
Accordingly, the special gazette notification related to the increase of water tariffs will be issued later today (August 26).
