Tear gas fired at protesters near Parliament of Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka Police have fired tear gas to disperse a group of protesters at Polduwa Junction in Battaramulla, near the entry road to the Parliament of Sri Lanka.
Protesters were demanding the resignation of acting President and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
“protestors” ? Come again? Tear Gas is an expensive item (something which we can ill afford to buy from abroad now) and somehow I don’t believe the police would waste such on innocent “protestors” ! Media has done a good job of covering for criminals masquerading as “protestors” but now the game is up and we are beginning to see the true colors of these “protestors!”
