Three Dankotuwa police officers interdicted

Three police officers attached to the Dankotuwa Police Station have been interdicted, the police media spokesman’s office informed today.
The move comes just days after a suspect was critically wounded after policeman’s pistol accidentally discharged during a raid in Dankotuwa area.
It is said that one Sub-inspector (SI) and two Police Constables (PCs) have been interdicted in this manner.
A police officer’s holstered gun accidentally fired during a raid at an illegal gambling den in Thabarawila on Sunday (04) critically injuring one of the suspects.
