Veteran actress Chitra Wakishta passes away

Veteran actress Chitra Wakishta has passed away at the age of 83 while receiving treatment at the Colombo National hospital.
The actress was popular for her role in Kopi Kade as Somi Nona.
Details pertaining to her final rites are yet to be informed.
