Veteran singer Sisira Senaratne passes away

Veteran singer and musician Sisira Senaratne has passed away today at the age of 79. He passed away at the Colombo National Hospital this morning, according to family members.
A popular singer since the 1960s, Sisira together with his singer wife, Indrani, have conducted a large number of musical shows in Sri Lanka and abroad.
He is noted for many popular songs such as Olu Nelum Neliya, Seeta Diyareli, Nuhuru Nupuruda, Mage Puthuta Mal, Gaya Geethayan Game wel Eliye etc.
