Warning to the public from Police Headquarters

Police Head quarters says that a special security programme has been implemented in the city of Colombo and its suburbs for the security of the public during the forthcoming festive season.
Police Media Spokesperson SP Ajith Rohana said that steps have been taken to assign both uniformed and civil police officers in this regard.
The Media Spokesperson requested the public to take extra care of their belongings in crowded areas as a large number of pick pockets and other criminals have been observed in such places.
