2025 A/L results released – 176,527 qualify for university admission

The Department of Examinations in Sri Lanka has released the results of the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
The department stated that candidates can check their results by visiting www.doenets.lk or www.results.exams.gov.lk.
The 2025 Advanced Level Examination was held at 2,362 examination centers across Sri Lanka.
A total of 281,810 candidates sat for the examination, including 221,413 school candidates and 60,397 private candidates.
Accordingly, 176,527 candidates have qualified to apply for university admission.
According to the announcement issued by the Department of Examinations, this includes 146,405 school candidates and 30,122 private candidates.
